Time to get your skates back from the attic, Night Skate Zwolle will be organized on September 18. At 7.30 pm you will leave rolling to music from the Wezenlanden park. Everyone is kindly requested to bring lights, which creates even more atmosphere.

From September 26: Become a designer @ TextielLab Textielmuseum, Tilburg

Always wanted to be in the shoes of a designer? From 26 September, visitors to the Tilburg Textile Museum will be transformed into makers. In the new Design Studio you design your own socks and scarves to experience the work of designers.

Top designer Bertjan Pot takes you through this entire design process. Your created design is sent to the knitting machine, which will knit a full pair of socks or a scarf together live, including your own text on it. You will receive your socks packed immediately and the scarf will be sent to you.

From October 1: South America in your own country @ Maaskantine, Rotterdam

It is certainly daring, opening a brand new catering business in the middle of the corona crisis. Entrepreneurs Ruben Venema and Tjeerd Hendriks managed to set up a striking catering business in De Esch in East Rotterdam within a few weeks. The covered outdoor restaurant has a completely Caribbean atmosphere on the Rotterdam Maas. With the impressive colorful interior it feels like you are in South America.

What’s on the menu? Cajun / Creole BBQ dishes, such as Sweet Potato Waffles, Blueberry Ribs, and Louisiana Crawfish with rum-based coktails. According to the owners, the city deserved a place with a quality restaurant, combined with the atmosphere of a beach club. The Maaskantine is located in East Rotterdam and is open from Thursday to Sunday until the end of the year.

16-25 October: Speed ​​through tunnels and over steep slopes @ Obstakelparcours Kartfabrique, Utrecht

Crawling through tunnels and climbing steep slopes and then sliding down again as quickly as possible, the largest obstacle course in Europe will be in Utrecht from October. The gigantic storm track takes up a total of 5,000 square meters and will be located in the Kartfabrique on the Westkanaaldijk.

Have you watched so much Wipeout that you think you can beat others? In the evening of 16, 17, 23 or 24 October there is the ‘Run Battle’: for people over 18. A time race will then take place over the assault course. On the other days, the obstacle course is child-friendly, partly due to the special children’s corner.
