Posted on April 16, 2020 by admin

The whole of the Netherlands went for a walk during the lockdown and many readers still keep moving, according to the reactions. Some readers did respond to our call, but then kept their favorite forest secret. “Because otherwise it will be much too busy.” Alita Rijanaards even finds it dangerous to ask readers about their favorite forest: “Let everyone have a nice walk in their own environment in this time of corona.”

Diana de Bruijn does reveal her favorite forest: the Schoorlse Duinen. And Leonie Vrieze can often be found in the Achterhoek forests, near Aalten. “Walking is good for my fibromyalgia disease. On the way I see deer. ”

So there are more creative readers. “I recently walked close to home in the Almbos near Giessen (NB), nice and quiet, and I was able to practice my hobby photography at my leisure,” said Rika Hooijkaas from Zuilichem.

Ine Dolders has discovered the Pieterpad. “How beautiful the Netherlands is! From Coevorden to Hellendoorn, the Sallandse Heuvelrug, but also from Groesbeek to the south. I take the photos and my girlfriend the report, so that we end up with a book. ”

Warnsborn in Arnhem is really beautiful for a nice walk with or without a dog and to get some fresh air. You will find grass, heather, streams, streams and all that in a beautiful forest. Afterwards you can have a warm drink at Hotel Warnsborn, more than enough for a super day

Nathalie Lampe: “Since June 2017 I have been hiking with my girlfriend Petra. First we walked the oldest walking route in the Netherlands (ANWB), from Amsterdam to Arnhem and meanwhile we started with the Pieterpad. How beautiful the Netherlands is! So much forest and heather / fens, just beautiful.

Ine Dolders: “I recently took a walk with my girlfriend near Kerkrade, near the Wormdal. A nice walk, partly along the winding river and through Germany. I recommend this unknown route to everyone. ”

Boy van der Erf: “Of course the Rijsterbos where you end up at the Oude Zuiderzee on the Mirnser Klif. With the most beautiful avenue in the Netherlands: the Mirnser Leane. In the forest there is also an old stone box from 3500 BC, the then residents already understood that the Rijsterbos is a great place. ”

Rene Strijland: “Of course the Rijsterbos where you end up at the Oude Zuiderzee on the Mirnser Klif. With the most beautiful avenue in the Netherlands: the Mirnser Leane. In the forest there is also an old stone box from 3500 BC, the then residents already understood that the Rijsterbos is a great place. ”
