Next Monday we start here on the website and on our Facebook and Instagram account with Zamarra’s cleaning challenge. Every morning Zamarra Kok tells about the cleaning job of that day and you can follow the progress of other readers.
What kinds of assignments can you expect? “Not the standard cleaning jobs,” Zamarra promises. “For example, I am not calling for you to vacuum your carpet, but to turn the carpet around and hit it with a carpet beater. Those things that many people forget to do. Just like cleaning the top of the kitchen cupboards. ”
Zamarra’s challenge is a modern version of the big spring cleaning. “We used to keep them en masse in the Netherlands: then the women opened all windows and the furniture went into the garden to be able to handle everything properly. We don’t see such a major clean-up anymore nowadays, but with my challenge I challenge everyone to freshen things up again at the end of the winter. ”
Because according to the housekeeping expert, our house deserves some extra love and attention. “We have all been sitting at home for so long! Our house has suffered a lot from this without us realizing it, ”says Zamarra.
“In addition, a clean and tidy house makes many people happier,” Zamarra continues. “And we could use some extra cheerfulness in this corona crisis!”
