Minister De Jonge assumes that the corona pass will not be abolished in the first week of November. “I think we need those tickets a little longer,” he says.
On 5 November, the cabinet will hold a press conference about the possible cancellation of the corona measures that still apply, but as far as he is concerned, that will be, for example, the closing time in the catering industry.
on the talk show On 1 De Jonge said last night that the cabinet will first look at measures that are “actually economically impeding”. This also concerns the maximum capacity of 75 percent for certain events. In any case, it is not about the corona admission ticket.
“That corona pass is at most annoying,” said De Jonge. But for now, he mainly sees the advantages of it. “If you want vaccinated and unvaccinated people to be able to reunite in groups, you have to make sure you do that safely and that is with that corona pass. So we can’t get rid of that already.”
