RKC Waalwijk has signed Pelle Clement on Friday. The 26-year-old midfielder comes transfer-free from PEC Zwolle and has signed for one season in the Mandemakers Stadium.
General manager Frank van Mosselveld is pleased with the arrival of Clement. “With Pelle we add an attacking midfielder and strengthen the balance in our selection,” he says on the RKC site. “We are pleased that Pelle has chosen us and look forward to a successful collaboration.”
Clement was active in the youth of Ajax from 2006 to 2017. In 2017 he made the switch to Reading, England. Between 2019 and 2022 he played 87 games for PEC Zwolle.
RKC is very active on the transfer market. Kevin Felida, Julian Lelieveld, Joey Kesting, Mika Biereth, Patrick Vroegh, Julen Lobete, Zakaria Bakkali and Florian Jozefzoon have already joined the Waalwijkers.
